Prostitute Yourself

Hosea 3:1

The LORD said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.

this is an example of how God shows his love to us for we are his bride and I would run off and do my own thing weather it be have sex or look at porn or just pick a fight with my brother and Jesus would come after me and bring me back tell me he loves me and he cherishes me and is there for me

I need to see that that is how God looks and me and how God loves me that i do have a hope and a purpose that he is not wasting his time chasing me down to bring me back home God loves me and i need to live like it.

Father God help me to live a life that is pleasing to you to be the man you have created me to be and to serve you with all of me i thank you that when i run off and prostitute myself that you are there to bring me home i thank you and praise you for it in Jesus name Amen

Let the anointing flow from you

We need to stop thinking only about what the anointing can do for us, and consider what it can do for others through us.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon US and he has anointed US to preach, to heal, to liberate those who are in bondage.

When we take the anointing that is on our lives and we use it or we share it with others God is faithful and just and wil increase it on our lives.  I am reminded of the the children of Israel when they stored the Mana from heaven what happened it got filled with maggots and the dead sea has no outlet so it is stagnant and DEAD there is no life there we need to continually have a pour out so God can pour more into us.

No Surprise

^{1 Thessalonians 3:3-5}

Not that the troubles should come as any surprise to you. You’ve always known that we’re in for this kind of thing. It’s part of our calling. When we were with you, we made it quite clear that there was trouble ahead. And now that it’s happened, you know what it’s like. That’s why I couldn’t quit worrying; I had to know for myself how you were doing in the faith. I didn’t want the Tempter getting to you and tearing down everything we had built up together.

Paul is saying when I was with you I told you that you would be persecuted and that hard times would come your way IT’S PART OF OUR CALLING.

All those who have been called by God will suffer temptation, persecution, and plain ole trouble. It comes as no surprise to me because I have been warned that the enemy is going to do whatever he can to stop me from walking out and fulfilling the Call of God on my life so when struggles and temptations come I need to stand firm and believe that god has some part or some reason for it.

Father God, I humbly come to you asking you to help me stand when the storms of life come and hit that you will be my strength you will be my strong tower and you will be with me as I continue on this journey I thank you and praise you for it in Jesus name amen.

Rejoice in the Promises

Psalms 30:6-7 MSG

When things were going great

I crowed, “I’ve got it made.

I’m God’s favorite.

He made me king of the mountain.”

Then you looked the other way

And I fell to pieces

When things are good we rejoice and celebrate God is good God is great thank you for this full plate. When you turn away from me I can’t stand on my own I crumbled to the ground I am no greater then a little child.

When God is standing with me or when God has looked the other way when I feel his presence and glow or don’t I need to stand and rejoice in the promises he has for me that those words are true that I will get married, I will travel the world, I will be used to change the lives of people, I need to rejoice that it’s coming, weather he is whispering in my ear or not, it’s coming. For ten years Abraham didn’t hear from God. I think a couple days is a long time.

Father God, help me to stand on your promises when I don’t feel you and to continue to strive to know you. you said you would never leave me nor forsake me so I know you are never very far away, help me to call on you when I need you and even when I don’t, I thank you and praise you for it in Jesus name amen.

Just Do It

1 Thessalonians 1:4

It is clear to us, friends, that God not only loves you very much but also has put his hand on you for something special.

Sometime people need to hear that they are loved cared for needed and that there is a plan and a purpose for their life that they are destined to something special something bigger than themselves and that is what Paul was saying God has a plan something big.

I need to remember that God says this about me, this has been prophesied over me and knowing what I have been called to means I need to step out in my calling and just do it, it is my time to shine. It’s time to impact this nation and to deliver the word God has given me, to encourage and lift up those that are in need of that push to step out in their call.

Father God, help me to remember that you love me and your hand is on me for something special that this call is irrevocable it is always to be used for your glory strengthen me and guide in the path you have for me so that I can do all that you have for me I thank you and praise you for it in Jesus name amen.

Actions Deny

^74-75Then he got really nervous and swore. “I don’t know the man!”

Just then a rooster crowed. Peter remembered what Jesus had said: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” He went out and cried and cried and cried.

3 times someone came to Peter and said you were with Jesus 3 times he said I don’t know the man the rooster crowed and Peter saw Jesus telling him you will deny me 3 times at which point he ran away and wept bitterly or continually.

How many times have I denied Jesus by my actions, by my words, by living life? Yet Jesus says “I’ll never leave you nor forsake you”, I cut and run when things get tough. However he is there for me. Yesterday my actions denied that I have a relationship with Jesus, upon seeing that the tears fill my eyes and I want to cry. Peter denied Jesus with words I deny him with my actions but really what is the difference I need to live my life as an example of who Jesus is make choices that say I am a follower of Jesus, not Jesus who.

Father God, help me make choices. Decisions that say Jesus is my savior; following Jesus is the right way of doing things, not go in half heartedly but all in for you. That Jesus is the way the truth and the light, no one comes to the father except through Jesus to walk out in what I know is true to live my life in agreement with Jesus I thank you and praise you for all the help you are giving me and the growth I have obtained I thank you for it in Jesus name amen.

You Are that Man

⁴ “One day a traveler dropped in on the rich man. He was too stingy to take an animal from his own herds or flocks to make a meal for his visitor, so he took the poor man’s lamb and prepared a meal to set before his guest.”

^5-6 David exploded in anger. “As surely as God lives,” he said to Nathan, “the man who did this ought to be lynched! He must repay for the lamb four times over for his crime and his stinginess!”

⁷ “You’re the man!”

I am just going to focus on you’re the Man!  Nathan the prophet comes tells a story that parallel’s David’s story with Bathsheba David says then man should die and he should repay 4 times what he took Nathan turns to him and says you are that man . . .

I have been in a similar situation, reading this story I can see the finger of the prophet aimed at me. Telling me you have committed this crime, you are guilty, you are that man. Like David I need to get on my knees and repent for my sins, turn and not return to it, instead turn to God and pursue him, pursue righteousness. Live a life beyond reproach forsaking all. The disciples followed Jesus I need to do the same . . .

Father God I praise you and I thank you for you are so wondering bringing correction to the one’s you love and lifting me up out of the crap I rolled around in I ask that you would help me to stay on this course and focus on you I thank you and praise you for it in Jesus name Amen.

All In

^{Matthew 10:38-39 MSG}

If you don’t go all the way with me, through thick and thin, you don’t deserve me. If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me.

Jesus is saying you need to go all the way through the good times and bad. If you desire to preserve yourself you won’t find yourself. When you focus on me you will find me and you.

So many times I have said I am going with God I am all in with him, just to turn and walk away when the going gets tough. I used to live a motto when the going gets tough Wes gets going. Today I know that no matter what I am going through God is there for me, walking beside me through it all, thick or thin he is there. I need to quit focusing on how stepping out and obeying God will effect me, I need to remember he who rejects the words coming out of my mouth are not rejecting me but Jesus. I need to focus on the prize which is Jesus and continue to pursue and strive after him and he will take care of me.

Father God I need you so much you are so awesome and good to me I don’t deserve your loving kindness. Help me to serve you keep focused on you not to let the waves of this world distract me and take my eyes off of you I long to do what’s right and I am willing to fight, father guide me lead me in all your ways in Jesus name amen

Honor

1 Samuel 25 MSG

3 The man’s name was Nabal (Fool), a Calebite, and his wife’s name was Abigail.

^9-11 David’s young men went and delivered his message word for word to Nabal. Nabal tore into them, “Who is this David? Who is this son of Jesse? The country is full of runaway servants these days. Do you think I’m going to take good bread and wine and meat freshly butchered for my sheepshearers and give it to men I’ve never laid eyes on? Who knows where they’ve come from?”

38 Right then and there he had a heart attack and fell into a coma. About ten days later God finished him off and he died.

First thing to point out is NABAL IS A FOOL second thing is that he did not Honor the man of God the chosen one of Israel. He says who is David that I should honor him, this son of whomever. Why should I take care of him at all? He’s no one and nothing to me. Third thing because he had dishonored David, God took his life from him.

Let’s go over this again, Nabal is a fool, a fool who dishonored God’s chosen one, because he dishonored the chosen one his life was cut short.

I need to honor the leaders of this time esteem them the way that God has called them to be weather they are good or wicked they are the leaders and God put them there so I need to honor them and esteem them greatly or I may end up as Nabal did.

Father God, help me to respect and honor your leaders I can’t live this life without you father it is so hard for me to esteem and respect leaders knowing they fail to live up to the standard you have set, help me lord become more like you and more compassionate to people’s faults and failures and lift them up I thank you and praise you for it in Jesus name amen.

Be Reay

Matthew 8:1-2 MSG

^1-2 Jesus came down the mountain with the cheers of the crowd still ringing in his ears. Then a leper appeared and went to his knees before Jesus, praying, “Master, if you want to, you can heal my body.”

When Jesus came down from the mountain he came down to a party the multitudes were celebrating his return and for what? He didn’t do anything except come down from a mountain? He so could have gotten lost in the praise and admiration but he didn’t, and to bring him back to reality was a man missing his nose some fingers and toes sores all over his skin. The man says to him Lord; if you want to heal me do so.

When I begin to walk out in what God has called me to I will get praise for the words I say and the miracles God performs while using me as his vessel. I will need to be brought down to earth and focus on what is in front of me not the praises of the people. I need to see God’s people with his eye’s not my eye’s and when the lame and the cripple and the demon possessed come, I need to be ready to lay hands on them and heal them with a word or what ever God calls me to use I need to be ready to take action.

Father God I thank you for giving me the strength to do what you have called me to and to lead by your example that you would help me to not be distracted by the praises of people but to remain focused on you on the cross so that I can continue to grow and to do your will I thank you for all things father in Jesus name amen.
